We’re always getting creative in the distillery so here’s our first Manchester Gin Limited Edition.
Since launching our cocktail bar, Three Little Words, in September last year, we’ve been able to share those experimental expressions of our gin with people in person. We decided to create seasonal limited edition gins to make sure that in addition to your favourite Manchester Gin – whether you’re a lover of the classic Signature, a Raspberry Infused sipper, or a bit of a Wild Spirit – that we’d always be able to give you a taste of something new.
Our first seasonal tipple: Spring 2020 Limited Edition: Apple & Vanilla. Taking crisp green apple and distilling it with creamy vanilla, we’ve created a fresh, bright gin with notes of pine and a beautiful sweetness. This spring gin tastes like those first warm evenings – beautifully refreshing. It contains our signature botanicals – dandelion and burdock root, which add a gorgeous depth of flavour and keep it unmistakeably a Manchester Gin.
G&T Perfect Serve
Help yourself to loads of cubed ice – the more ice, the fresher and crisper your G&T – and pour over a double of Apple & Vanilla. Top with Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic and garnish with a cinnamon stick and sprig of fresh rosemary. Enjoy in a spot of afternoon sunshine.
Cocktail Class: Maid
50ml Apple & Vanilla
20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
10ml Sugar Syrup
10ml Absinthe
3 slices of fresh cucumber
6 fresh mint leaves
Method: Fill a cocktail shaker or jam jar with cubed ice. Add all the ingredients. Shake until the glass/tin starts to frost or feel really cold. Strain over cubed ice into a tumbler and garnish with fresh mint and a slice of cucumber.
