12 Days of Christmas
One of our personal favourites. Think Boozy Dandelion and Burdock, rich, liquoricey, a little refreshing with some herbal notes & hint of mint from the Fernet. This drink is strong and short, with some sweetness from the vermouth and the reduction, it is a great after dinner drink to settle that stomach full of Christmas roast.
This drink celebrates the Dandelion & Burdock root in all of our gins
50ml Signature Gin
12.5ml Mancino Rosso Amaranto Red Vermouth
15ml Dandelion & Burdock Reduction
5ml Fernet Branca
For the Dandelion and Burdock reduction: you will need 250ml of the regular Dandelion and Burdock soft drink. Over a pan with a low to medium heat you will need to reduce this liquid by 2/3 until there is about 100ml in the pan.
For the drink: This is a stirred drink so you will need a stirring jug or any tall glass (pint glass will work). Add your ice to the glass and stir your ingredients over the ice until you have diluted it enough to enjoy it (this will be personal so little tasters all the way through are a must). Garnish this drink with a nice orange peel twist.
