“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
In order to keep you and our staff safe and comfortable, we’ve made some important changes to the way we operate our bar, restaurant and distillery.
These changes have been informed by guidance from the government and industry authorities and we are continuing to monitor that guidance and adapt our health and safety measures accordingly.
They include but are not limited to…
Wellness Checks
Staff will complete daily wellness checks. Any staff displaying COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home and supported with self-isolation.
Responsible Rota-ing
Shift patterns will be designed around “bubbles” of staff to minimise the number of people each staff member comes into close contact with.
Reduced Staff
Each shift will be run by a smaller team and start and finish times will be staggered to allow physical distancing at work.
Regular Handwashing
Every member of staff will wash their hands thoroughly every twenty minutes to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
Sanitiser Stations
Hand sanitiser made to the WHO approved formula is available at stations throughout the bar, restaurant and distillery, and we kindly ask our guests to use it upon arrival.
PPE
All staff will find appropriate PPE available to use during their shift and on their journeys to and from work.
A New Floorplan
We have reduced the capacity of our bar and restaurant by over 50% to allow for physical distancing between guests.
Stay Home
We ask guests not to visit us if they are displaying symptoms of COVID-19.
Cleaning Routine
A new cleaning rota has been implemented across our premises to ensure high-touch surfaces in particular are sanitised regularly. Toilets, flushes, soap dispensers and door handles will be cleaned every 20 minutes. We have increased the length of time between each table reservation to allow for a deep clean between bookings.
Risk Assessment
We have completed and documented a thorough risk assessment to demonstrate that we have effectively controlled COVID-19 hazards within the premises in order to operate safely.
Digital Menus & Ordering
You will be able to view menus, order, and pay digitally on your own device. Alternatively, paper menus are available which will be disposed of after each use.
Table Service
The bar and restaurant will be table service only and you will not be able to order at the bar to help maintain safe social distancing.
Reduced Menu
We have reduced our food and cocktail menus to allow us to operate the bar and kitchen with fewer staff and manage safe physical distancing.
Contact Tracing
Guests will be required to book online or provide contact details when visiting as a walk-in to support the government’s contact-tracing scheme.
Households
We ask that your group is made up of 6 or less and one household or ‘bubble’ in accordance with government advice.
